"I was surprised to find out that I had won XL Girls Model of the Year. First time back since starring in My Big Plump Wedding, which was a blast to film. Probably the only time I will be in a wedding dress! The August '09 cover of XL Girls was probably my best cover ever. The crew here at The SCORE Group really worked hard to make me look good (thanks!). Being with gals like Maria Moore and Sapphire on that project was an honor. I have admired them for years. I've been shooting for The SCORE Group since 2001, so it is amazing to still be here shooting all these years later. I have the most fun shooting for The SCORE Group, working with the great Peter Wall, who was the very first person ever to shoot me. That initial shoot landed me the very first cover and magazine, XL Girls #48. Since then, being in the magazines, whether on the cover or inside, is such a glamorous thrill for me. I get excited and can't wait to tell all my fans and friends about it."
